Mom, I just had a dream.
You asked me if I was doing alright.
I folded an orange paper boat,
placed it in four o’clock’s birdsong.
Everything was good as usual.
02 / DIPTYCH
Type,
drink,
cough.
Walking on the road during sunset,
listening to when tomorrow’s sun
will rise.
Woke up by the rain at midnight,
got off the bed to close the window,
half of my sleeve got wet.
Got up in the morning,
my sleeve was dry,
but the window was still open.
03
My sadness,
washed away by the rain,
seeps into the soil,
flows into the river.
04
The brightness of the sun arrives
on the earth instantly.
Maybe for sunlight itself,
it is also a torment.
05
I want to be a soilless plant.
Even on the boundless ocean,
I will continue to grow.
06
In the echoes of the world,
people are separated far apart.
But they still depend on each other.
